Yes, I am a poet, and, by george, I know it. ;P Okay, here I will post some of my poetry, please know that a lot of it, for some reason, can be a bit down, a bit dreary, depressing, and weary. But I love them all, all the same.

These Old Bones
My days of youth have
since long past,
for every breath
I struggle and gasp.

There is no more
meeting half way
there,
instead I say;
"I'll just stay here."

These old bones are
cracked and brittle,
weary and worn,
my spirits torn.

I cough, I weeze,
I have sore knees.
My back is pained,
no joy I've gained,
watching the years
leap out me,
5 at a time.

I don't blow out candles,
anymore,
I am dying,
I am worn.
My teeth are chipped,
my nails too long,
when theres a camp fire,
I can't sing along.

I've watched my family grow up fast,
never knowing
I wouldn't last.

These old bones are
yellowed and worn,
my hope well's dry,
and my spirits are torn.

How I Love the Night Time
When the night settles in
For a change, for a stay.

Listen to the crickets as they
Drag their legs crossed their wings,
And chir-chirp the night away!

See the stars as they
Wickedly grin down at you,
Hate filled fires for the sky's
Eyes.

Listen to the water is it
Slaps the sandy shore,
Mocking the lungs that
Hide in the cavities of
Your chest,
struggling
For every o-zone
Scented breath.

And watch the birds fall
From the sky because
They don't carry
Dark time eyes.
So they flap right into
A soft-wood pine,
Snaps their necks,
And break their spine.

Oh, how I love the
Night time,
With the night sky,
That grins
Dooowwwn at me//

Oh! How I love the
Night time,
With the night songs,
That may pity me;

…the rest of the world
Is stuck at war,
I could have always sworn
They said he'd come back yesterday,
But here I sit.

And watch
His
Grave.

I guess they
Were not lying,
I guess he came back,
After all.
We wait and waited,
And then we got to
Have him cremated.

Oh, how I love the
Night time,
With the night sky,
That grins
Dooowwwn at me//

Oh! How I love the
Night time,
With the night songs,
That may scream
Along with me!

Oh. How I love the Night time,
With the night sky,
And the night songs,
And the night dreams,
And my
Nightmares.

Tear the Pictures Off The Walls
Tear the pictures
Off the walls!
I don't want to see
Your faces, anymore,

Throw the album
In the fire,
Watch it burn,
Like your desire.

Take your hand,
Trace it 'crossed the sky;
Watch the trees
Shake and wave; goodbye.

Listen to your memories//
One more time.

Melancholy
Once green grass
Of my inner realm,
Has lost its sun,
And grayed.

Once soft silk
Of my inner dreams
Has tattered, torn,
And frayed.

Once bright skies,
Of my inner soul,
Have darkened, gloomed,
And stormed.

Once bright laughter,
Of my inner self,
Has
twisted

into

sobs.

I'd really appreciate some feed back!
